It’s Starting….More Information

We are very excited to finally get to have a fall soccer season.  This will be very different compared to last year; but we hope that it will go smoothly and safely for the players and coaches.  The health and well being of everyone is our first priority.  Please review the information below for the start of the season.

1.  Schedule

Every Saturday, starting October 3rd through Nov 21st

  • 2013-2015 birth years (U6-U8) at 9:00
  • 2010-2012 birth years (U9-U11) at 11:00
  • 2006-2009 birth years (U12-U15) at 1:00
  • 2003-2005 birth years (U16-U18/highschool) at 1:30

Players will be placed into small groups and will practice different drills within a time frame, then move to another coach/area for a different drill.  The session will end with small sided scrimmages.

2.  Concessions

Are open and following COVID protocols.  

3. Check In

  • All players, coaches, and staff will be screened prior to being allowed on the fields. We will have an area designated for check in and people completing temperature checks beforehand. Please begin arriving 15-20 minutes early to allow adequate time to check in.
  • Players will be required to check in upon arrival for contact tracing purposes, and will receive a bracelet to wear for the entire practice. 
  • All Players and families, five years and older, will be expected to wear masks when out of your vehicle at 5 Mile Dam Park this will . Players can choose to remove masks, when they start training, but need to replace it immediately after training or leaving the group. Coaches and staff will be required to wear masks for the entire time.
  • Players will be segregated into small groups (4-8 players to 1 coach) and will remain with this group for two weeks at a time.

4.  What To Bring

Water bottle, mask (5 years or older), shin guards, soccer cleats or tennis shoes.

5.  Parents

  • Parents and families are expected to stay out of the roped off area designated for players only. Please do not leave until your child has been screened and allowed on the field prior to training. 
  • When out of your vehicle, at 5 Mile Dam Park, it is expected that everyone be mindful of keeping physical distance and wearing masks at all times.
  • As always, the club follows a strict adherence to behavior guidelines. Those rules still apply. A copy can be found on the website.
  • Please park in parking lots. The county park rangers will ticket anyone parked along the street, inside the complex.
  • Payments will be processed on October 1st, through the gotsoccer system. If you are paying cash, please pay at the time of check in.

6. Covid Safety Guidelines

Parents, families, players, coaches, and staff should stay at home if you are feeling sick, experiencing COVID-19 symptoms below, or have been in close contact with anyone who has had a confirmed positive case of COVID-19 within the last 14 days.

People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with one, some, or all of these symptoms may have COVID-19: 

  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fever of 100.3 degrees F
  • Chills
  • Muscle pain
  • Sore throat
  • New loss of taste or smell 

**This list does not include all possible symptoms. Other less common symptoms have been reported, including gastrointestinal symptoms like nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.

  • The sharing of water or clothing will not be allowed.
  • Hugging and touching including handshakes, high fives, or elbow bumps will not be allowed.
  • All equipment that remains at the facility and restrooms will be sanitized after each training session.

As with everything…..please be patient. We will have volunteers out to help get players checked in and playing.
