Registration is now open for the Spring 2023 Surge Recreational Soccer Season (click here).
This registration is for our Recreational Soccer Program (kiddos born from 2011-2018). If your player is older than 2011 or participates in our travel team program, please contact mclapper@surgesoccertx.org for a registration link.
Registration will close February 1, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. On site registration will January 21 and January 28 from 10am – 12 pm at the 5 Mile Dam Soccer Complex Clubhouse. Games will begin March 4th and the end of season celebration will be April 29th.
If you need financial assistance, Surge offers 50% off registration fees. You may request financial aid by emailing tphelps@surgesoccertx.org.
A couple of reminders from your friendly neighborhood registrar:
- Keep birth year in mind when submitting buddy requests. Age divisions are by birth year, not school grade level. (i.e., Judah and Micah are in the same class at school and are best friends. Judah was born in 2015 (U8) and Micah was born in 2014 (U9). If Micah requests Judah as a buddy, I cannot place Micah on the Judah’s team(U8) as it is against our governing organization’s rules to roster a player below their age division. I can play Judah up to be with Micah(U9) but would need parental consent to roster a player outside their age division.)
- If your player happens to play two sports in the spring, I will do my best to accommodate your schedule, but it is not always possible.
Please let me know in the “is there anything else we need to know” section of registration if your child is playing multiple sports and if there are any days you CANNOT practice with Surge. As a volunteer run club, I am beholden to the coaches who volunteer and the days they are available to hold practice.
