Each season, Surge ends with a celebration day.  On this day each team plays 2 games, we provide jumpy castles, face painting and free meals for all Surge players.  When a team’s games are completed we also hand out participation medals.  It is a great way to celebrate the kids!

Games – In order to keep the energy up for the entire day, most game times are slightly shortened.  We will play all the games at 5 Mile Dam fields. The schedules can be found on our website: www.surgesoccertx.org

U5/6  –  6 minute quarters (No practices)

U7/8  –  7 minute quarters

U9/10 – 20 minute halves

U11/U12 – 25 minute halves 

It is imperative that these games start on time, we are scheduled back to back to back. So please don’t delay the start of games for any reason. U6 and U8 please keep all quarter breaks to 2 minutes and half time to no more than 5 minutes. This will go a long way in helping this be a great event for all involved.

Meals – At the beginning of the day, coaches are given meal tickets for everyone on their roster. This meal ticket allows players to get a hot dog, chips, and a drink for free from the concession stand. Players may use this at any time over the course of the day.

Special Treats – Just for the celebration, jumpy castles are provided for anyone’s enjoyment from 9-2.  And free face painting will be provided from 10-2. We will also have music playing to add a little something extra to the fun factor!

Medals –  Every season, the league provides medals for all registered players. At the end of the team’s second game, we invite all the players to gather near the concession stand and coaches will be given medals to handout. 

All of this adds up to one exciting day at the fields and a whole lot of fun!
